Tripartism is a key competitive advantage for Singapore underpinning its economic competitiveness, harmonious labour-management relations and overall progress of the nation. The tripartite partners – government, employers and union – work in cooperation to shape our future together, forging consensus in developing strategies and taking action to achieve sustainable national growth and development for the benefit of all i.e. employers, workers and society.
The Singapore Tripartism Forum (STF) is jointly set up by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) to institutionalise and strengthen tripartism in Singapore.
STF aims to to build strong partnership amongst the social partners (i.e. government, unions and employers) by providing a platform for engagement, education and research, and by being a centre of excellence for enhancing professionalism, understanding and capabilities of stakeholders.
